I met Danny in high school; we were in the same awesome class of 05. Lol, maaaany interesting moments in class with this guy. He was perty darn cool and always so nice, so it only makes sense that he'd find a fiance to match :) He and Ashley were so fun to work with; easy-going and precious as all get out.

We started out in search of an old run-down store that I'd seen before, buuut alas it was plastered with No Trespassing signs. So we drove back to where we'd seen some hay-bales and lo and behold, THE cutest little old man was out planting and showed us the down-home Southern Hospitality worthy of a country song. He totally let us take pictures all over his yard, which turned out to be a GEM. It had everything we ever dreamed of having in a shoot like this.

So I was a bit excited about getting this one up, lol. Every once in a while, someone will come along with an idea that makes me step out of the ordinary, and I LOVE doing that! This time, it was Ashley's hankering for a vintage look. Lol, kiiinda went to town with that whole theme, and I've gotta say that I had an absolute blast, ON the shoot AND editing it. I got to try out several different looks of cross-processing...we'll see if any hit the mark :)

We were about to leave, and went to thank the man one last time. He was SOOOO sweet, and even pointed us to his "perty, shiny 'n painted right nice" tractor. So we closed out the session on the good ol' sentimental hoorah.
